How Pawn Loans Work

If you’ve never pawned an item before, the process is easier than many people expect.

Bring your item to our Mesa pawn shop along with a valid government-issued photo ID. One of our team members will evaluate the item and explain the loan amount we can offer. If you choose to proceed, your item is securely stored while the pawn loan remains active.

Pawn loans are generally written on a 90-day schedule. During that period, you can repay the loan according to the terms of your agreement or make the required payment to keep the loan active when additional time is needed.

When evaluating jewelry and precious metals, we use professional testing methods that help us accurately identify gold content and gemstones. Depending on the item, this may include Sigma Metalytics precious metal verification, Presidium gemstone testing equipment, and traditional acid testing.

Designer handbags and qualifying luxury accessories may also be authenticated using the Entrupy authentication platform when appropriate.

A Few Tips Before You Visit

A little preparation can make the evaluation process easier. When available, bring chargers, power cords, remote controls, cases, accessories, original packaging, or receipts that help us verify the item and test its condition.

For electronics, make sure you know any passwords needed to demonstrate that the device works and can be reset if necessary. Tools and other equipment should be complete enough for us to test their basic operation.
